As host of Movie Addict Headquarters, one of the featured shows on BlogTalkRadio, I’ve had the good fortune to interview many fascinating guests. That’s why it’s practically impossible to pick the most interesting ones. But Cloris Leachman was definitely one of the most memorable. What a comedy ambush! I could hardly get through the interview because I was laughing so much – unprofessional, I know, but I couldn't help it! Debbie Reynolds and Barry Bostwick have been the most candid – Debbie about her bad luck with men and Barry about his Rocky Horror Picture Show experiences.

And Tony Curtis was the most controversial with his sexy comments about Marilyn Monroe. His interview with Movie Addict Headquarters may have been the last one he gave before passing on. Tony was having some hearing problems and misunderstood my name. So he said, Betty Culpepper, what a name! Have I got the movie for you: Montana Falls starring Betty Culpepper! To this day, some people still call me by that name.

Perhaps the most surprising interview I conducted was with Oscar-winner Rita Moreno, who shared revealing information about her acting career ( such as “Jerome Robbins almost killed me in rehearsals for West Side Story!”) during our episode celebrating the Singin’ in the Rain 60th Anniversary. Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne was also a guest on that show, and these two show biz icons had never met before, so I gave them free rein -- and they made the most of their time together! That episode ended up being one of our most popular shows.

I think every guest is “the most interesting” while I’m talking with them. And each week I can hardly wait for the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating film folks who agree to be a guest on Movie Addict Headquarters, which airs each Tuesday at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on BlogTalkRadio.
